Course Structure

Asia-Pacific Aromatherapy Diploma Course has been formulated after years of first hand practical clinet and workshop experience. This course covering 10 components and comprising 369 in-class hours plus 408 recommended self-study hours, makes a total 777 actual learning hours.

10 Course Components includes :

Essential Oil Pharmacy 
Insight into 50 essential oils and their physiological and psychological uses and applications

Essential Oil Chemistry

A general understanding of the phamacology and toxicology of essential oils and commonly  prescribed drugs and how essential oils are metabolized within the body and how they interact with each other.

Anatomny, Physiology & Pathology
Insight into the structure of the body, the normal functions of the body, the structure and functional manifestation of disease.

Massage
Insight into the general principles of massage, communication through touch with warmth, sensitvity and reassurance.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Insight into principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the 'Five Elements' theory and how TCM restores the natural balance of energy in the body

Communication Awareness
Insight into the power of the word, your own self development, the role of a professional aromatherapist

Business Sense
Insight into how to set up and run a business.

Holistic Views
Insight into other natural haling professional and how aromatherapist can work with other practitioners to care for clients holistically. Gain an understanding of the inter-connection of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of the human body.

CPR
Equip student with basic first-aid knowledge for future use as well as to fulfil the requirement of  international governing bodies.

Clinic Day
A chance to work as student practitioner holistically to put theory into practice.
